ANOTHER group of promising students have been helped by the Letisha and Charlene Education Award Scheme.

Eleven new winners shared in almost £4,000 worth of cash and computer awards.They received their prizes in a ceremony beside a peace garden dedicated to the girls at St George’s Community Hub, in Newtown.
The students were presented with certificates by the girls’ mums, Bev Thomas and Marcia Shakespeare.Joining them for the presentation was Birds of a Feather actress Linda Robson.
